Successful On-Site Installation of FM12000 Flange Milling Machine for a European Customer

After seven days of installation and commissioning, the machine achieved the required precision and performance standards. The FM12000 Flange Milling Machine is a high-precision, heavy-duty portable milling solution designed for machining large-scale flanges with diameters ranging from 3 meters to 12 meters. It is capable of performing both flat surface milling and seal groove machining, making it ideal for applications requiring high precision and surface integrity

The machine's rotation is powered by a servo motor, providing stepless speed adjustment for optimal control. Milling power is supplied by a hydraulic power unit (HPU-20E), ensuring stable and efficient cutting performance. The machine supports a 250mm milling cutter, enabling high material removal rates while maintaining excellent surface quality.

Our customer is a leading European manufacturer of mining equipment, specializing in the production of heavy-duty machinery for large-scale mining operations. The FM12000 is used for machining bearing seats and rail mounting surfaces on their massive equipment structures. This custom-designed solution was developed specifically for their requirements. From the initial project discussions to final delivery, our engineering team worked closely with the customer to overcome all technical challenges. After manufacturing, the machine was securely packed into two shipping containers and transported to the customer’s site. Upon arrival, we provided comprehensive on-site training, ensuring seamless integration into their production process.
